Insta360 GPS Preview Remote

Since I knew from the start that I wanted a 360-degree camera, I decided to buy everything from one brand, Insta360.

First the AcePro2 on Amazon Prime Day, and most recently the X5.

Plus various mounts and the Insta360 GPS Preview Remote.

I want to push the GPS data into the cameras, and timecode should be integrated as well.

I briefly tried developing an iPhone app to take over control via large buttons, but the SDK for the AcePro doesn’t allow control over BLE. So that project ended there.

Control over Wi-Fi isn’t an option, because I’d lose CarPlay, and it also wouldn’t allow synchronised control of multiple cameras.
