# Navigation Variante 2 - DMD2 Nor7e

Ich hatte mit CarPlay und den Apps dazu Immer wieder Probleme bzgl. der Bedienung während der Fahrt. Die Steuerung per Wonder Wheel klappte nicht so, dass es angenehm gewesen wäre.

Ausserdem möchte ich ein System, das es mir auch einfach erlaubt zwischen Tracks und Routen zu unterscheiden. Dabei bin ich dann auf DMD2 gekommen, das ich jetzt verbaut habe.

Sicher, es war ein großer Umbau, aber ich denke es löhnt sich.

Ein zusätzliches Bracket mit Distanz Funktion war nicht nötig

Für die Stromversorgung habe ich einen CarTool Stecker bei Amazon bestellt. Der Hersteller benennt hier einen Fertigungsprozess, der sicherstellt, dass die Kabel in der Reihenfolge der Pins nach aussen geführt sind.

Damit ist:

- Pin 1: grün -&gt; DMD2 schwarz
- Pin 2: gelb -&gt; ungenutzt
- Pin 3: blau -&gt; DMD2 rot

Den Cartool Stecker und den DMD2 Kabelbaum habe ich gelötet und mit Schrumpfschlauch fixiert und geschützt.

Der original Anschuss befindet sich in Fahrtrichtung rechts unter der Seitenverkleidung. Am besten das Teil entfernen, dann kommt man leichter dran.

Den Kabelbaum habe ich zusammengerollt und sauber hinter dem TFT Display gesichert.

#### BMW Sync Box

Zuerst hatte ich die BMW Sync Box via Bluetooth connected. Das hat nicht funktioniert und ich konnte nicht von TFT auf NAV umschalten. Nach Recherche in der Facebook Gruppe habe ich dann doch das Kabel verlegt. Nun geht es flink und geschmeidig.

Im oberen Bild führt das Kabel nach unten.

Dann habe ich die Tankverkleidung und das linke Seitenteil gelöst. Das Kabel lässt sich einfach dahinter legen und nach hinten führen.

Der Canbus Stecker befindet sich unter der hinteren Abdeckung unter dem Sitz. Es ist ein bisschen Fummelei, die Sicherungs Clips befinden sich seitlich, aber der geht schon raus.

Ich habe den Canbus um ezCAN und die BMW Box als Daisy Chain erweitert. Es funktioniert tadellos.

#### Der Halter im Cockpit

Es war ja für das original BMW Cradle der Halter von Wunderlich verbaut.

Nun benötigte ich einen mit der 12mm Achse.

Die Wahl viel auf diesen von Ali Express.

Es sind bei beiden Haltern keine Schrauben und Distanzhülsen für die untere Befestigung dabei. Ich weiß auch nicht ob die von BMW so ausgeliefert werden oder ob ich sie durch den Wunderlich Halter schon hatte. Den hat damals mein Händler eingebaut.
